Alex Wu

President of Kanda Hemp

Born during China’s industrialization era, Alex Wu grew up amidst heavy pollution, with clear skies being a rarity. His educational sojourns in the UK and US displayed the stark environmental contrasts and underscored the impact of industrialization. Determined to combat climate change with no bounds for countries, Alex discovered the transformative industrial potential of industrial hemp in 2015, which he soon viewed to be a key solution to the global climate crisis, with the power to decarbonize many of our industrial sectors if scaled appropriately.
